Types of Corporate Massage provided by Fresh Therapy
Myofascial Release or MFR is a connective tissue massage that works on the fascial system that surrounds and infuses every muscle and other system in the body. It is a deep and slow technique that manipulates the fascia to permit the body to retain normal shape and position. MFR incorporates the use of Muscle Energy Technique (MET), which is a method of realignment through application of a hold/relax stretch to allow range of motion testing to locate shortened tissues and restriction of movement.
Remedial/Sports massage uses a mixture of deep tissue massage, trigger points and stretches, which reduces tension in the body, assists healing and allows for deep relaxation.
Lymphatic Drainage is a form of very light circular pumping massage that encourages lymph flow in the body. It is particularly good for detoxification and oedema. The lymph system is a slow-moving system of vessels and lymph nodes that is supplementary to the body’s system of blood circulation. The lymph system both delivers nutrients to the cells and carries away excess water and toxins.
